Abstract :

Transition metal complexes containing bidentate O, O donor ligand, i.e., 4-Hydroxy -6-methyl-3-[3-(3-phenyl-acryloyl]-pyran-2-one (DHAC) derived from 3-acetyl-6-methyl pyran-2,4(3H)-dione (dehydroacetic acid) and bezaldehyde, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, conductometry, thermal analysis, magnetic, IR, NMR, UV-VIS, X-ray diffraction and fungicidal study.
