Abstract :

A large number of female freedom fighters in Odisha took an active part in all three phases of the Indian freedom movement. They made tremendous sacrifices, suffered untold miseries, became the victim of lathi charges, and arsons, and spent their lives in different jails for years together for the liberation of the motherland.
