Abstract :

The Medieval Period in India, spanning from the 6th to the 18th century, witnessed a dynamic interplay of trade and commerce that significantly influenced the economic, cultural, and social landscape of the region. This article delves into the intricate web of trade routes, the exchange of valuable goods, and the resulting societal transformations that shaped this era. The geographical advantage of India's strategic location at the crossroads of major land and sea routes, coupled with its diverse resources, propelled the region into a hub of international trade.
