Manisha V. Shirodkar, None

By : Laxmi Book Publication

Abstract :

The present chapter deals with the various concepts of health and its practice in the fields and social work perspectives of health services. “Health is the basis of Virtue (Dharma), Wealth (Artha), Desires(Kama), and Emancipation(Moksha)”. These words from Charaka Samhita speak to the attributes behind building good health for making a complete human. According to Hindu Shastra, a complete man is a person, who is loyal to every stage of his life till death.
