URBAN GREEN SPACES: A CHANGE DETECTION ANALYSIS OF THE KOLKATA MUNICIPAL REGION

Abstract :

Kolkata is a comparatively congested city as compared to Delhi since the rate of migration is very high and the area of the city is not enough to accommodate such a large population. The area of Kolkata is approximately half of the area of Delhi and the region experiences large scale migration from the surrounding regions.
