Abstract :

This paper has focused on the history of Indian agriculture, role of agriculture in Indian economy the emphasis on Agriculture sector during Five year Plans, India’s agricultural exports and imports scenario, the impact of economic reforms on Indian agriculture and the impact of WTO n Indian agricultural sector.
